Our Story

Madelyn and Justin's lives crossed paths in the Summer of 2018, but it wasn't until that Fall when their love story truly began. After connecting through an online dating app, they agreed to meet at a local Japanese Restaurant for their first date! They bonded over their love for sushi and by the time dinner was over their first date jitters had worn off and they spent the next three hours talking in the parking lot!

They made plans, changed those plans, and made plans again for a second date! Justin was ready to pick Madelyn up for a day of fun and memory making at Silver Dollar City, and as her family lovingly says, "in true Maddie fashion", she tripped and tumbled down the last flight of stairs from her third floor apartment, quickly making this one of their most memorable dates!

With each of them having separate busy schedules, they would continue to meet for their weekly date night! As time passed and feelings grew stronger, they set a date and in June 2020, Madelyn moved in with Justin and they started merging their lives together!

Fast forward a few months later...

In November 2020, the happy couple took a road trip to Austin, TX to spend Thanksgiving with Madelyn's family! On Thanksgiving Day, after much planning and coordinating, Justin surprised Madelyn by getting down on one knee on her sister's front porch, and asked Madelyn THE BIG QUESTION! She said "YES!!", and the wedding planning began!

It is officially time to tie the knot and we couldn't be more happy to share this moment with you and begin our happily ever after!
